Frankie Mae (Haechten) Chung passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 in Corpus Christi, after a long battle with cancer with her husband, Taesin by her side.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill Haechten and Vera and Ulysses Ballard and brother, Duess Haechten.  Born in Ballinger, Texas on November 30, 1938, Frankie was 82 years old.

Frankie was the loving and dedicated wife of 56 years to Taesin Chung and proud mother of Sidney (Jennifer), Casey, and Michael.  She was especially proud of her grandchildren Melissa (Nick), Michael, Catarina, and Corbin.  Frankie is survived by siblings, Patricia Brooks, Junior Ballard, and Larry Ballard.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021at 1130am-2pm at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown Access Rd., Corpus Christi, TX, 78417.  Burial will follow at 230pm at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St., Corpus Christi, TX, 78408.
