Mr. Francisco Garza Jr., 68, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 18, 2018. He was born in McAllen, Texas on December 23, 1949 to Francisco Garza Sr. and Catalina Garza. He was married to his loving wife Erminia Alvarado Garza for 48 wonderful years. He worked as a concrete finisher for many years and after he retired he continued to sell at the local swap meets.
He was an amazing father to David Garza, Abel Garza (Brenda Ann Davila), and Frank Garza (Isela Salazar). Francisco was also a remarkable grandfather to 4 outstanding grandchildren Abel Garza Jr., Ryan Everett Garza, Ilianna Salazar-Garza and Eli Dylan Garza. His siblings include Osvaldo (Angelica) Garza, Rey (Maria Luisa) Garza, Abelardo (Oralia) Garza, Facunda (Rolando) Reyna, Josie (Juan) Sanchez, Grace Garza and Dahlia Garza. Francisco had a happy and blessed life. His family and friends will miss him dearly.

We will be gathering to remember his life at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A, 5922 Crosstown SH 286, on Thursday June 21, 2018.
Public visitation will begin at 5:00 pm followed by a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.
A funeral mass will be held Friday June 22, 2018 at 11:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2509 Nogales St .
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St .
