Francisco "Frank" Zallas Humada, Sr., 96, of Robstown, Texas went to see our Heavenly Father on 4 April 2022.

He was born on the Parra Ranch in Sarita, Texas on 14 February 1926 to Macario M. Humada and Fransisca Zallas Humada.

Frank was a Christian man who had a great faith in God. A beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. He loved his family dearly. Frank humbly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during World War II, primarily serving in the Mediterranean and the Midway Islands. God has taken another angel.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Dora Longoria Humada; sons: Daniel Humada, Jerry M. Humada; grandson Joseph A. Humada; daughter-in-law Julia Humada; his loving parents Macario and Fransisca Humada; brothers: Henry Z. Humada, Alfredo Humada, and sister Maria G. Humada.

Frank is survived by his sons: Frank (Victoria) Humada, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, Joe Hector Humada of Orange Grove, Texas, Henry C. Humada of Farmington, New Mexico, Eddie (Jane) Humada of Tucson, Arizona,  Jose (Rose) R. Trevino of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Larry (June) M. Humada of Robstown, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren whom he loved.

Public Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2022 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel B with a Catholic Chapel service to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. that morning. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Rose Hill Memorial Park.

The Humada family would like to give a very heartfelt thank you to Terri Segura for the many years of gracious care she provided to our father and mother prior to her passing in 2020.
