Felipe "Flip" Gasca , 24, of Houston, Texas, died April 5, 2022 after a recurrent battle with Leukemia.

Flip was born September 10, 1997 to Rafael Gasca and Shora Kim Gasca in Lansing, Michigan.

Flip enjoyed gaming, relaxing and spending time with family and friends. He was a dedicated sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros, and the Houston Rockets. He loved drinking a few cold ones with his parents and hanging out with his siblings. Flip was blessed with close friends who watched over him and helped him laugh and enjoy life. Most of all, he loved spending family time with his wife Erin Renee and his daughter Leila Renee, they were his world. Leila is a true "daddy's girl" or as his mother would say, "Flip and Leila are two peas in a pod."

Felipe is survived by his wife, Erin Renee Gasca, his daughter Leila Renee Gasca, his parents Rafael Gasca and Shora Gasca, his brother Israel Gasca, and his sisters Isabella Gasca and Sophia Gasca. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather Dong Irl Kim.

Flip is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Meeya Dongmi Kim, his paternal grandmother, Zoila Gasca Jimenez, and his paternal grandfather Juan Jacinto Rodriguez.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown Access Rd. Corpus Christi, Texas 78417 from 10am-12pm.
