Mrs. Felipa Jenks Perez, 90, passed away August 8, 2016 at home surrounded by her family and loved ones. Mrs. Perez was a member of Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents George Jenks and Felipa Ayala Jenks, Husband Jose S. Perez, one sister Lucy Valdez, two brothers Richard Jenks, and George Jenks, four sons Eddie Perez, Joe Perez, Ernest Perez, Henry Perez, and one daughter Maria Ester Salazar. Survivors include one son George Jenks Perez (Bertha) Corpus Christi, Texas; 18 grandchildren; and 39 great-grand-children. A rosary for Mrs. Perez will be recited at 7pm Sunday August 14, 2016 at Guardian Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Monday August 15, 2016 at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Henry Perez Jr., Homer Perez, Michael Perez, George Perez Jr., Ernest Perez Jr., Eric Perez, and Joe Jay Perez. Our gratitude to Gentiva Hospice and (Well Med) Dr. Rene Rodriguez.
