Felicidad Chapa Davila passed away on July 4, 2021 at the age of 95 after a courageous battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully sleeping in her own home in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Felicidad Chapa Davila was born in Victoria, Texas on November 23, 1925 to Isabel Ybarra and Jesus Chapa. She was the second to the last of 13 children.

Felicidad lived on The Willie Kline Ranch with her parents and siblings. They all worked on this ranch until their parents passed away and moved to Gregory, Texas. Gregory is the town where Felicidad would meet Ramon Davila and eventually join him as one in marriage. Together they had eight beautiful children; four boys and four girls: Diana, Raymond, Eva, Carlos, Fred, Danny, Nora, and Maria Isabel.

Felicidad Chapa Davila joins now in heaven her husband Ramon Davila who passed in 1983; daughters: Eva Chapa Davila who passed in 1978, Diana Davila who passed in 2017, and Alfredo Davila who passed in 2020.

She is survived by her children: son Raymond Davila, son Carlos Davila, son Danny Davila, daughter Nora Davila Aquino, daughter Maria Isabel Davila; her adopted children from her deceased daughter Eva Davila; Velma Ramos, Richard Ramos, Patricia Ramos, Monica Davila Callahan, and Eva Amanda Villarreal.
She had a special place in her heart for each of her countless grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and her great-great-great grandchildren. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousin whom she adored.

Public visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Guardian funeral home chapel ''A" with a Service to Celebrate Mrs. Davila life to begin at 6:00 p.m.
