Faustino Falcon's obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Faustino Falcon announce that he was called home by our Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the age of 74 years. Our father will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Teresa and his children Nelda (Ruben Saldana), Patricia (Robert Medrano), Graciela (Eliberto Hernandez) and Rebecca Falcon.
Dad will also be forever loved by his seven grandchildren, Robert Jr., Ruben Jr., Adrian, Annamarie, Monica, Mia and Joaquin, as well as his sisters, Teresa (Ruben) Dominguez, Angelina (Jesus) Martinez, Minerva Craig, Gloria Looper, and Maria (Fred) Rinche. He will also be forever remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by Guadalupe Falcon, (father), Maria Huerta Falcon, (mother), Ricardo Falcon, (brother), Leopoldo Huerta, (brother), Oralia Cantu, (sister), and Eloisa Welsh, (sister).
Dad was born on January 30, 1944 in Rockport, TX. After honorably serving in the United States Navy he pursued and obtained his Associates degree in Electrical Technology at Del Mar College that lead to his 33-year career at Reynolds Metals-Alcoa. Dad was a proud descendant of Captain Blas Maria de la Garza Falcon, the first settler of Nueces County, Texas.
Dad was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for fishing, hunting and boating. He was a fisherman who had a deep love of the sea. He enjoyed our South Texas sunsets. He enjoyed gardening and landscaping. Ultimately, dad was at his happiest cooking for his family and friends.
The Falcon family would like to express their sincerest and heart felt thanks to all the family and friends who have prayed for our dad during this difficult time.
