Mrs. Eva G. Salinas, 85, entered into eternal rest on November 26, 2021. She was born in Falfurrias, Texas to the late Francisca and Vicente Garza on February 11, 1936. She was a dedicated and compassionate woman who worked with children with special needs for 25 years at Mary Grett School.

In her spare time, Eva enjoyed taking care of her family, trying her luck at bingo, and playing the piano. Her generosity, open heart, and love for life will never be forgotten. She is survived by her brother Hector Garza (Maria); husband Omar V. Salinas; her three children Delma Rodriguez (Gustavo), Dinah Gonzales, Omar Jr.; one granddaughter Sierra Gonzales; and several nieces and nephews.

Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel ''A" with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. that evening.

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 2045 18th St. Burial will follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery 9974 I.H. 37 North Access Rd.
