Eva Zepeda, 72, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away December 31, 2017. She was born in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, on February 10, 1945 to the late Manuel Bujanda, and the late Rosalia Armendariz Garcia. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Adolfo (Bofa) Zepeda. Eva Zepeda earned her certification as a Nurse's Aide Assistant, and was last employed at Sunnybrook Nursing Home. Mrs. Zepeda had a passion for dancing, playing bingo, and Sunday Funday's with her family.
She is survived by her children – Irma Zepeda, Victor Zepeda, and Veronica Zepeda Garcia, grandchildren – Ramon DeLeon, Adrienne Zepeda, Adolfo J. Garcia, Jennavieve Garcia, Gabriela Garcia, Salvador Ochoa III, Brian Campos, and Marissa Campos, great grandchildren – Elliana DeLeon and Mila DeLeon, Daughter-In-Law – Terri V. Zepeda, Son-In-Laws – Ociel Martinez, Jr. and Orlando J. Garcia, as well as many numerous nieces and nephews. Sister – Irma Rico, and Chayo Rico both from California. Sister, Rosa Vasquez and brother, Manuel Bujanda both from El Paso, Texas.
Visitation will begin on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 5:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm that evening, located at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am, on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 540 Hiawatha St. All Funeral Services will conclude at the Church.
