Eva Arriaga, passed away peacefully in Houston, Texas on December 4, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to her loving parents Tomas and Anita Arriaga.
Reared by her grandmother Cecilia Arriaga, aunt Pat Arriaga, and aunt Leonor Arriaga Gomez.
Although very private, she had a profound influence on those whose lives she graced with her presence. Her friends would describe her as fun and loving soul, always with a smile on her face and laughter on her lips. Eva dedicated her life to her faith and her family. As a devoted Catholic, she served in many of her parish ministries, always ready to give of herself for the good of others.
Eva was preceded in death by her father Tomas Arriaga and brother Robert Arriaga.
She leaves behind, to cherish her memories, her mother Anita Arriaga; siblings: Thomas Arriaga, Jr., Maria Arriaga, Arnold (Mary) Arriaga, Rudolph "Rudy" (Irene) Arriaga; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, December 7 at Guardian Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that evening.
A Chapel Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 8, at Guardian Funeral Home, burial to follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
