Eva Martínez Arévalo , age 87, of Corpus Christi, TX passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Fidel Arévalo, Sr. and her son, Roberto Arévalo, Sr. She is survived by her living children; Elvia (Ray) Espitia; Fidel Arévalo; Ricardo (Margie) Arévalo and many loving grandchildren; nieces; nephews and dear friends. Mrs. Arévalo's hobbies included gardening, her pets; and she shared a profound love of music.  A one-day, Roman Catholic funeral service will be held at Guardian Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas. Family will begin receiving friends at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017 Vigil and recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a Chapel service delivered by Deacon Christoph at 10:00 a.m. Interment and Rite of Committal will immediately follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
