Eulogio (Loy) A. Rodriguez passed away on October 2, 2019 at the age of 71. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was born on April 19, 1948 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Guadalupe and Maria Vela Rodriguez. He was a dedicated mechanic for the City of Corpus Christi for over 25 years. Sunday nights were never complete without the Dallas Cowboys on the tv, Loy's delicious barbecue on the pit and lots of die hard shouting.

He was known for making the best brisket and potato salad in the family. He had a knack for the game of pool; he was always ready to take someone's money when he won!

His heart was truly happy when he was covered in oil under the hood of his cars. The amazing talent he was given through mechanics was one which he shared with many. Always ready and willing to help out anyone in need; regardless of their ability to pay.

He had a few sayings that will live in our hearts forever... "Do you love yourself", "Kiss it Good Bye Papa", "Rack Em' Up Boys."

We will miss you greatly, You were an amazing Loving man, Husband, Father, Granfather, Great Grandfather and friend... an overall great person.

Loy leaves behind his devoted wife of 55 years, Noemi; Daughters - Irene Alonzo (The late David Ramos), Judy Godoy (Earl Wheeler Jr.) Brenda Rodriguez; 9 Grandchildren - Tiffany (Benjamin) Hinchman V, Cecelie Alonzo, Andrea (Alex) Chavez, Brandon (Jocelyn) Godoy, John Michael Godoy III, Benjamin Mireles Jr., Amber Wheeler, Alexis Mireles, David Ramos II; 5 Great grandchildren - Jayla Chavez, Xavier Ramirez, Brenden Godoy, Ameriah Godoy, Aurielle Hinojosa; siblings and spouse - Maria (Manuel) Muniz - Fort Worth Tx., Manuel (Eleanor) Rodriguez Arlington Tx., Jesus (Rosalva) Rodriguez Fort Worth Tx., Petra (Robert) Jimenez, Robert (Delia) Rodriguez Fort Worth Tx, David Rodriguez

Public visitation will begin on Monday, October 7, 2019 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel "A" at 5:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. 3210 SPID\Kostoryz. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
