Mr. Eulalio "Lalo" Gallegos, age of 84, passed away peacefully in his sleep Saturday morning on June 27, 2020. He had been residing in Corpus Christi, Texas for the past five years.
He grew up and spent most of his life in Eagle Pass, Texas and Piedras Negras, México. During his early adulthood, he worked around the U.S. and travelled as far as Walla Walla, Washington. Later in the 1960's, he worked at Altos Hornos de Mexico (AHMSA) for over 30 years. Lalo became an electrician and being a jack-of-all-trades, always supplemented his extra income doing side jobs including electrical, masonry, and plumbing work. Always a loving, patient, supportive and present parent, he would be involved and attended his children's many sporting and social events as well as dance recitals.
From his first marriage he had two children Juan E. and Jose A. Gallegos; in his second marriage with Gloria Martinez, they had four children, Eulalio, Jesús, Victor, and Gloria Gallegos, and had raised them in Piedras Negras.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jeronimo Gallegos and Romana Valdez, his siblings Guadalupe, Jose, Jesús, Jeronimo, Manuel, and Juan Gallegos; Spouse Gloria Martinez, and sons Juan E. and Eulalio Gallegos II.
He is survived by his children Jose, Jesús, Victor, and Gloria, as well as his 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

There will be a Visitation held On June 30 at Guardian Funeral Home at 4pm-8pm.
