Obituary
Esther Chavez Ortiz, 99, went home to be with the Lord on April 23, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Aurora Silva, and son, Phil Silva and other family members and friends. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2014 at Guardian funeral home chapel B with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 25, 2014 at Sinai Evangelistic Center, 3512 S. Staples with Pastor Raul Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow in San Pedro cemetery in Odem, Texas.
