Estevan Solis Torrez of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away February 13, 2019 at the age of 67. Estevan was born on May 10, 1951 to Domingo and Guadalupe Torrez. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and an amazing friend to all.
Estevan is now reunited with his parents and siblings; Ernesto, Efrain, Domingo Jr, Daniel and Estela that preceded him in death.
Estevan is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Cristela Garcia Torrez, his son Estevan (Elida) Torrez of Magnolia, Tx and his daughter Patricia (Oscar) Torrez of Round Rock, Tx. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild which he adored and loved very much, he had a "special name" for each of them; Alicia (Pretty Girl), Miguel Jr (Big Boy), Elisabeth (Pretty Baby), Maycee (JCPenny), Oscar Jr (Little Big Boy), and a special niece who he treated as a grandchild Brianna (Flaca). He is also survived by his siblings; Esperanza (Jesse) Fuentes, Eduardo Torres, Esmeralda (Eddie) Sauceda, Blanca (Rudy) Reyes, Susanna Garcia, Reymundo (Anita) Torrez, Jose Luis (Esther) Torres, Raul (Julie) Torres, Ruben Torres and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 4pm with a Holy Rosary being recited at 7pm that evening.
