Estevan Molina Alvarado, Sr. was called home on August 25, 2024 at the age of 89.

He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 3, 1935 to his parents Policarpio Alvarado and Anastacia Molina.

A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many is now at rest.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army, obtaining the rank of Sergeant.

Estevan spent his free time either playing bingo or watching his all time favorite team the Houston Astros. He enjoyed the company of his family, both near and far and did his best to be with them as much as possible. His heart was truly wrapped around his great-granddaughter Jaelynn. Their bond was like no other. Our hearts are broken to bid farewell to the rock of our family, but we recall to mind a wonderful life, one of which brought us peaceful memories that will always be our guide.

He is joined now in heaven by his parents; wife Andrea G. Alvarado, son Estevan Alvarado, Jr.; along with his siblings Rafael Alvarado, Genaro Alvarado, Enrique Alvarado, Maria Fuentes and Anastacia Benavides.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his daughter Emelda Alvarado; granddaughter Jessica Alvarado (Eric Martinez); great-granddaughter Jaelynn Lugo; along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Eric Martinez, Joe Garza, Jr., Samuel Garza, Eloy Garza, Anthony Torres, Jacob Chadis, Robert Ascension, Jr.

Public Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Guardian Funeral Home, Chapel A, with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. that evening.

Final Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Guardian FH, with the Burial and Full Military Honors to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
