Ester Garcia Villarreal, 65, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on January 5 ^th , 2017.
Ester was born in Corpus Christi on December 2, 1951. She graduated from high school and continued on to receive a license in Vocational nursing from Del Mar College. Ester was married to Domingo Villarreal for 12 years.
Ester worked as a licensed Vocational nurse for Christus Spohn for 18 years and with home health services for 30 years. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with family.
Ester is survived by her children Raul (Jovan) Salinas and Monica (Juan) Mireles. She has five grandchildren Melody, Andrew, Clarrisa, Alex, and Alyssa. She is also survived by her siblings Joe (Norma) Garcia, Rosa Maria Garcia, Yolanda (Angel) Garcia, Aldolfo (Gilda) Garcia, Graciela (Joe) Esquivel, Hector Garcia, and Jesse (Diana) Garcia.
Ester is preceded in death by her husband Domingo Villarreal, and father Jose Maria Garcia and beloved mother Viola Garcia, sister Alicia Valenzuela, brothers Ernesto Garcia and Rolando Garcia.The funeral service/visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on January 9th at Guardian Funeral Services. Burial will follow the funeral at Seaside Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Guardian Funeral Services.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Guardian Funeral Services. The family of Ester Villarreal wishes to thank family and friends.
