Ester F. Gonzalez, 61 , of San Antonio, TX passed away surrounded by loved ones on February 13, 2021. She was born on March 4, 1959 in San Antonio, TX to Manuel and Juanita Fernandez.

Ester was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved being a wonderful grandmother, one of the greatest joys of her life. She always made sure all her grandchildren had their favorite snacks, treats and goodies on all her visits she would make or when they would visit her. She just knew what each grandchild's favorite snack was.

She was well known to make every holiday so special and memorable for all of them by baking, decorating and giving gifts. Her grandchildren were her blessings and she was loved by them all very much. Ester also welcomed with open arms numerous extended family members in her home and help nurture them in their time of need. She also loved them as her own. She had a huge heart.

Ester was preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Juanita Fernandez, sister Anita Valles, brother Manuel Fernandez Jr., and sister Alice F. Saenz.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jose Gonzalez whom she married on February 2, 1976.
They together have four daughters: Marisela Gonzalez, Marianita G. Hernandez husband David L. Zaragoza, Martha De Hoyos husband Jesus G. De Hoyos Jr., and Josephine Gonzalez, 11 grandchildren; Felix G. Segura IV, Mariah Lynn Gonzalez-Hamilton husband Marquez D. Hamilton, Isaiah David Perales, Armando Hernandez II, Ariana Hernandez, Destiny Danai Zaragoza, Desirae Ranae Zaragoza, Jesus Gonzalo De Hoyos Jr., Dominicio Jose De Hoyos, Olivia Rose De Hoyos, Amarissa Faith De Hoyos. Surviving siblings; Macario Salas, Guadalupe Gutierrez, Pauline Martinez, Eva Chagoya, Alex Fernandez and numerous of nephews, nieces, family and friends.

She will be deeply missed. May she rest in eternal peace. AMEN.
