Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Estelle Louise Bouschor, who left this world on August 11, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on March 15, 1941, in Manistique, Michigan, Estelle lived a life rich in love, joy, and adventure. She was the cherished daughter of Frank Edward Krzyzanski and Helen Angeline Garlak, who preceded her in death, along with her loving husband of 52 years, George K. Bouschor, her dear sister Cassie Davis of Detroit, MI, and her beloved maternal and paternal grandparents.

Estelle's spirit was as vibrant and captivating as her classic sense of style. Known for her charismatic personality and zest for life, Estelle touched the hearts of everyone she met. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and aunt; leaving behind her three children: George E. Bouschor, John L. Bouschor, and Susan H. Trevino (Rogelio), and nephew, Joseph Davis. Her legacy also includes her cherished grandchildren, Kyle Craft and Rogelio Trevino Jr., who were the light of her life, filling her days with laughter and love. Estelle's conversations often revolved around her grandchildren, who will carry her memory and unending love with them always.

Throughout her life, Estelle had a passion for travel and adventure. Her career in the commercial airline industry spanned various areas including sales, marketing, and airport operations at notable locations such as Baton Rouge Metropolitan, New Orleans International, and Miami International. After retiring from American Airlines, she embraced her newfound freedom by exploring beautiful destinations, including the Virgin Islands and Aruba, with her husband and children.

Estelle was a woman of many interests. She found joy in gardening and took great pleasure in reading her favorite magazine, Southern Living. Her love for life extended to her community, and she was remembered fondly by those whose lives she touched.

As we celebrate Estelle's remarkable life, we extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Rene Franco and the incredible staff at Devoted Healthcare and Hospice, whose care and compassion made a difference in her final days.

A holy rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, at Guardian funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in her honor on August 21, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Estelle's honor to a charity of your choice.

Estelle Louise Bouschor will be remembered not only for her love and devotion to her family but also for her zest for life and the indelible mark she left on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in our heart.
