Estella G. Guajardo, 85 , was called home on July 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother to 3 generations, sister, aunt and friend to many is now at rest.

Estella was born in Elsa, Texas on January 28, 1939 to her parents Benito and Emma Garcia.
She had 13 siblings; 8 brothers and 5 sisters.

Estella attended West Oso High School in the late fifties. There, she met the love of her life, Guadalupe B. Guajardo whom she married and they celebrated their 67th anniversary on July 16, 2024.

They had 7 children. They lived life to the fullest. They loved to go dancing often. They were always together until God called her home.

Their sons, Guadalupe Guajardo, Jr., Benito and Ernesto preceded her in death. She has embraced them after a very long awaited reunion.

Throughout her entire life, Estella always had a smile and a hug for all. When family and friends visited, she would stop what she was doing to make them feel at home with great conversation and always a cup of coffee. No one ever left her home without having a great meal. Everyone was always welcome.

She was very talented with her sewing. She would sew outfits for her daughter and sons as they were growing up. Estella sewed her daughter's wedding dress, drum major uniform, cheerleader outfits and many other costumes and things for those she loved.

Her many generations of grandchildren always knew they were loved at grandma's house. She showed much love by cooking and spending quality time with all of them.

She is survived by her beloved husband Guadalupe B. Guajardo.
Children: Arturo(Iris) Guajardo, Belinda Guajardo-Garcia, Albert Guajardo and Arnold Guajardo.
Grandchildren: Guadalupe III, Benjamin, Joshua, Jeremiah, Wendy, Valerie, Arnold F., Melissa, Lupe, Alexander, Jaqueline, Arnold M.

The Family of Estella G. Guajardo would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all Doctors, Nurses and All staff that cared for her at Christus Spohn Shoreline ER, ICU and floors 6 and 7 and Cimarron Place. Angel Bright Hospice, we will always hold a special place in our hearts for your outstanding care of our loved one, Estella. You showed love and respect when it was most needed. Thank you to all of you.

Public Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Guardian Funeral Home - Corpus Christi, with the Holy Rosary to begin at 6:30 p.m. that evening.

Visitation will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Guardian FH, with the Funeral Procession to depart at 10:00 a.m. that morning, for the celebration of a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Corpus Christi.

Burial will follow in San Diego Cemetery #1
