Estella G. Garza, 87 years old, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 11, 2014 after a long illness.
Born in Monterrey Mexico on September 28, 1926. She married Ralph S, Garza on 1-12-1946 and moved to Corpus Christi where they were married for 68 years. Estella Garza is remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Her love and affection were felt by everyone that she knew.
She is preceded in death by: her husband Ralph S. Garza, her granddaughter Kimberly Garza and son-in-law Abelino J. Narvaez.
She is survived by her seven children; Rosie Garcia, Lupita (Lou) Narvaez, Ralph G. Garza (Diana) Ruben Garza, Blanch Fernandez (Johnny), Gloria Arredondo (Hector) and Vincent Garza, 17 Grandchildren: Victor (Carla) Garcia, Michael Garcia, Adam Narvaez (Blanca), Steve Narvaez, Jay (Ariana) Narvaez, Christina (Alex) Garza, Jessica Garza, Brian (Jessie) Fernandez, Lisa Fernandez (Rudy Rios), Stephanie (Diego) Arroyo, Amy (Eric) Vela, Hector and Christopher Arredondo, and Sarah and Nicole Garza and 2 great-great grandchildren. Her sister-in-law Rafaela Garza, from Corpus Christi along with numerous nieces and nephews in Monterrey Mexico, also survives her. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Guardian funeral home chapel A with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral procession will depart Guardian funeral home on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon at Holy Family Catholic church, 2509 Nogales/MacArthur. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are her grandsons; Victor and Michael Garcia, Adam, Steve and Jay Narvaez, Brian Fernandez and Hector and Christopher Arredondo.

Estella G. Garza will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
