Esperanza "Hopie" Plazola Escamilla, 45, passed away May 1, 2018. She was preceded in death by parents, Evangelina Plazola and Jose Plazola, brother, Joe Plazola, niece, Clarryssa Silguero, sister, Guadalupe Gutierrez. Esperanza was a wonderful person with a beautiful soul. Her seven daughters and her grandchildren were her world. She lived for them. She had the biggest heart, always tried to help anyone with anything she could. A very outgoing woman, full of life and love. She was known for her famous rice and potatoe salad, and she brought lots of joy to many people, and was known by everyone and she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, Aniceto Escamilla, daughters, Serena (Longino) Castillo, Savanah (Joe) Hinojosa, Sela (Tony) Dimas, Summer (Isaiah) Escamilla, Sybilla (Sebastian) Escamilla, Salma Escamilla and Saleah Escamilla, grandchildren, Savannah Castillo, Khalel Hinojosa, Leonides Dimas, Novah Lee Martinez, and Joe Hinojosa, II, brothers and sisters, Stella (Armando) Reyes, Maria Plazola (Danny), Manuel (Priscilla) Plazola, Carlos (Bertha) Plazola, Sylvia (Jerry) Gonzales, Trina Alonzo Garcia, Oscar, Caroline, Myra Garcia, Reynaldo (Marlene) Garcia, aunts/tias, Alma Ledesma, Yolanda Gutierrez, and Seneida Jiminez. Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Services to be held at 7:00 p.m. to celebrate Hopie's life.
