Obituary

Esperanza "Hope" Garza Fernandez, a beacon of warmth and joy, passed away surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness, love, and selflessness. Hope was born into the loving arms of Francisco and Christina Garza, who, along with her son Ramon Ricardo Fernandez, Sr., five brothers, and four sisters, preceded her in death. Her radiant spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Hope's legacy of love continues through her devoted daughter, Emily (Leonore) Fernandez; her adoring grandchildren, Ramon Jr., Randy, and Alysah Fernandez; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Ramon III, Isabella, and Ivy; three sisters Christina, Rebecca, and Linda, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Her life was further enriched by the companionship of Samuel Reyes, her partner of many years, and his daughter, Jennifer Reyes, along with her children, Bubba and Jaelyn, who Hope embraced as her own.

For many years, Hope brought beauty into the world as a cosmetologist, making a lasting impact on the lives of those she served. She later shared her work ethic and dedication with the community at Carr's Cleaners, where her presence was a constant source of encouragement and support. Hope's professional life was marked by her unwavering commitment to excellence and her genuine care for others.

Hope's nurturing soul was mirrored in her love of gardening, where she cultivated a sanctuary of vibrant plants and flowers that brought joy to everyone who visited her home. Her garden was a reflection of her inner beauty and her ability to help things grow and flourish. Hope's love for life extended to her many friendships, which she treasured deeply. She was the life of the party, whether playing bunco, her favorite game, or savoring the flavors of her beloved Mexican cuisine at Kiko's. Her laughter was infectious, and her presence at any social gathering was a gift to those in attendance.

Hope's life was one of connection and generosity. She never missed an opportunity to share a meal or a moment of companionship, always offering a listening ear or a helping hand. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her selfless nature was evident in every aspect of her life. Esperanza "Hope" Garza Fernandez will be remembered not just for the love she gave, but also for the love she inspired in others. Her memory will continue to be a guiding light for her family, her friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her extraordinary spirit.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Angel Bright Hospice for their care and compassion.
