Esmeralda B. Limon, 87 went to be with our Lord on August 31, 2017. She was born July 16, 1930 to Alberto and Leonor Botello in Beeville, Texas.
Esmeralda is preceded in death by her parents, Alberto and Leonor Botello; husband, Jose G. Limon; son, Jose E. Limon; three brothers, Albert Botello, Adolfo Botello and Abel Botello; grandson C.J. Limon and great grandson Sebastian Campos.
She is survived by her children, Rene (Josie) Limon, Alfredo (Bertha) Limon, Ruben (Patsy) Limon and Yolanda Villarreal; two Brothers, Arturo Botello and Deacon Armando (Emma) Botello, four sisters, Lydia (Adolfo) Villarreal, Henrietta Lopez, Elva Gonzalez and Elia (David) Garner and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was a long time member of Mary Mother of the Church Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Guadalupanas. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be dearly missed.
Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Guardian funeral home chapel "A" with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Nuestra Senora de San Juan de Los Lagos Madre de la Iglesia Parish 1755 Frio St. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
