Ernest Pereida Torres passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 51, on November 28, 2025.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Maria Torres. He was born on February 20, 1974 in Houston Texas but he spent most of his life in Corpus Christi, Texas and worked in various trades over the years.

He is survived by his two sons, Joshua and Justin Torres and his sisters Crissy Trevino, Norma Charles, brothers Ralph (Arlene) Torres, Rudy (Odie) Torres, Richard (Brenda)Torres and numerous of nieces and nephews.

Ernest loved to BBQ and cook for friends, and never missed a chance to cheer for his beloved Houston Texans. His family chooses to remember him with compassion and hope that he is now at peace.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Doors will open at 12:00 p.m. and services will start at 12:30 p.m. at Calvary Fellowship Church 2131 N Hwy 77 Robstown, Tx 78380 and luncheon to follow.
