Ernesto G. Caceres Jr. has gone home to his eternal resting place. Ernesto was a graduate from W.B. Ray High School, he later went to join the Army from 1967 to 1970. Ernesto was employed at CCAD for over 20 years. Mr. Caceres had a passion for veteran functions, running, bike riding, traveling, listening to music and always was up for a good debate and a good beer. He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife Mary E. Caceres, one brother and one sister, a host of children and grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family and friends. A special thank you to the nurses, providers and hospice. A prayer service will be on Monday September 21, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Home. The family will start accepting visitors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday September 22, 2015 at 10:00a.m. with interment to follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
