Ernest Fernandez, Jr. passed away on June 11, 2021 at the age of 73.

He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on June 20, 1947 to his parents Angelita and Ernest Fernandez, Sr.

Having been raised in the bay city; he had a deep love for the ocean; enjoying countless hours fishing. He was a simple man who enjoyed life day by day. We are sad to say goodbye, but we rejoice that he is now at peace.

Ernest is preceded in death by his parents; and son Ramon Ricardo Fernandez, Sr.; sister: Yolanda F. Gutierrez.

He is survived by his daughter Emily Marie Fernandez of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren: Ramon R. Fernandez, Jr., Randy Fernandez, Alysah R. Fernandez; 3 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other members of the family whom he loved.

Public Visitation will begin at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel B with a Catholic Memorial Service to be celebrated at 12:00 p.m.
