Erika Smart, 77, born in Stuttgart, Germany on Christmas Day, 1939, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Valentine's Day, 2017. Erika loved traveling, music, dancing, family, friends, and taking care of animals.
She is survived by her brother, Gerhard (Brigetti) Lochner; sister, Ursula (Lutz) Bashe; children, Jeanne (Rick) Woronik, Elizabeth (Gary) Hicks, James (Stephanie) Smart, and Rosemarie (John) Mirsadschan; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday, February 20, 2017; visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown, Corpus Christi, TX 78417
