On the morning of December 13th, 2016, the Lord called home Eugene Frobish. He was 79 years old. Gene proudly served his country as a Marine, a sheriff's deputy, a prison guard, and retired as a Police Captain after serving 37 years with the Corpus Christi Police Department. In addition to his work, he also considered himself a "professional grandpa". He was a great provider, always putting his family first, and he will forever be missed. Gene is survived by his wife, Nelda; his six children, Gina (Barry), Cindy, Marie, Luther (Becky), Jacob, Nora; his seven grandchildren, Alexander, Vivien, Spenser, Luke, Jonah, Ava, Jaxon; and his only brother, Harold (family). His life will be celebrated on Friday, December 16th, 2016, 11:30 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran on Louisiana Ave., and will proceed to Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
