Obituary
Enrique "Henry" Perez, 64 passed away suddenly on Tuesday January 19, 2016. Henry was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on May 23, 1951 to Jose Perez and Felipa J. Perez.
On August 29, 1975 he married the love of his life, Hilda Perez. Henry and Hilda were blessed with 3 wonderful sons, Henry Jr., Homer and Michael. Henry was a loving husband, father, father in law, grandfather, son, brother, brother in law, uncle and cousin. His beliefs, loyalty and dedication towards his family was very important to him and he passed this onto his sons. He had an unconditional love toward his grandsons and was very proud of them. Henry enjoyed spending extra time outdoors with his sons and grandsons as they shared his love and passion for music, horses and hunting. He was very proud of his sons, especially the men they grew up to be. Henry always encouraged and motivated them to do their best in everything they did. He had one of the biggest hearts and compassion for his family and friends. He was known and respected by many and loved by all.
Henry is survived by his wife, Hilda Perez, son Henry Jr. (Carrie) of Cypress, Tx., Homer(Janeth) of Corpus Christi, and Michael Perez of Corpus Christi; Grandchildren Henry Perez III, Keagan Alec Perez, Homer Perez Jr., Omar Perez; mother Felipa J. Perez, Brother George(Bertha) Perez; numerous nieces, nephews and in.aws. He is preceded in death by his father Jose Perez, his sister Mary Esther Salazar, brother Joe J. Perez, brother Eduardo Perez, brother Ernest Perez.
Visitation for Henry will be Sunday January 24, 2016 at Guardian Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Mon. January 25, 2016. Henry will have his final resting at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Serving as Pallbearers: Homer Perez, Michael Perez, Henry Perez III, Ricardo Garcia, George Perez Jr., Norberto Cortina and Ruben Jay Valdez honorary Pallbearers are his grandsons Keagan Alec Perez, Homer Perez Jr. And Omar Perez.
