Enrique P. Martinez, Sr., 65, went to be with the Lord October 2, 2019.  He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Gilbert Diaz Martinez and Martina Padron Martinez.  He was a man of all trades such as a truck driver, mechanic, and operator of heavy machinery.  He was always willing to help anyone out, even giving the shirt off his back if needed. He is reunited in heaven with his mother Martina and father Gilbert, as well as sister Celia, brothers Gilbert and Rudy.  He was married to Betty Ann Martinez. Enrique is survived by his children Enrique Martinez, Jr.,(Alexandra), Michael Anthony Martinez, Sr., (Melody), and Eric Martinez (Helen), grandchildren, Enrique Milliano Martinez, Candice Rodriguez, R.J. Rodriguez, Arianna Alcala, Desiree Martinez, Briana Marie Martinez, Destiny Angel Martinez, Michael Anthony Martinez, Jr., and Alaina Symore Ortiz, four sisters and three brothers and numerous nieces & nephews.  Public visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Celebration of life service to start at 7:00 p.m. All services will conclude at 8:00 p.m.
