IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Enedina Gonzalez
Perez
January 28, 1960 – September 24, 2020
Enedina Gonzalez Perez, passed away on September 24, 2020 at the age of 60.
She was born on January 28, 1960 to Zaragoza and Enedina Gonzalez in Ingelside, Texas.
Enedina is joined now in heaven by both of her parents; sisters: Sandra, Susie and Lisa, her biological twin.
Our "Nena" as she was intimately known, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She will be remembered for her strong will to preserve, the unending compassion that she shared with everyone she met, her warm, loving, embrace, and her witty sense of humor.
She had a great passion in caring for children; throughout her life she helped raise many of the neighborhood kids, providing them the structure, education and love needed to succeed. Before she had her own children she worked in the First Baptist Church Nursery; a job in which she found great joy. Thereafter she would take on her new role as homemaker tending to the needs of her beautiful family.
In her younger years you could find her out roller skating enjoying the simplicity of the day. Through the years she developed a love for cooking and baking; a skill which she attributed to her late mother-in-law. Each day her house was filled with the beautiful scent of her home cooked meals or her sweet carrot pineapple bread baking in the oven.
Although her years were short, we believe she lived a full life, surrounded with happiness and love.
The faith she proudly proclaimed tells us that she is saved. The legacy that she leaves will live on in our hearts, for generations to come. Forever missed but Forever Loved.
Enedina leaves behind to cherish these memories, her husband of 36 years Bryan Perez; daughter: Nadia Maribel Figueroa (Fabian); son: Bryan Daniel Perez; grandchildren: Ezio and Dante Figueroa; brothers: Joe and Zaragoza Gonzalez; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she adored.
