Encarnacion G. Aguilar 88 years old went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday November 16, 2018. He was born on November 5, 1930 in Falfurrias, Texas. At the age of 17 he joined the Army. In 1961 he moved his family to Taft, Texas where they resided for the last 57 years. Encarnacion was a member of several Church's in the surrounding areas.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church Choir in Taft, TX.
A member of the Choir at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Aransas Pass, TX.
He was also a member of the Choir at Christ the King Catholic Church in Corpus Christi, TX.
As a Guitarist and Prayer Group Member Encarnacion Played and Worshipped throughout the Diocese of Corpus Christi.
Encarnacion G. Aguilar was proceeded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Aguilar, his daughter Sylvia Aguilar, a brother Ramiro Aguilar, and a sister Indelia Garcia.
He had 3 brothers Alejandro, Ramiro, and Manuel Aguilar. He had 3 sisters Euldelia Sanchez, Evanelia Narvaez, Indelia Garcia.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his beloved wife of 65 years Vicenta M. Aguilar. His daughters Yolanda Uribe (Oscar Uribe), Azalea Luna, Rebecca Gonzales (Manuel), Esther Ramirez (Raul Ramirez), Criselda Gonzales (Anthony)… His sons Manuel Aguilar (Virginia), Edward Aguilar, Jesse Aguilar (Michelle), Ernesto Aguilar (Rosalinda), Cristobal Aguilar, Carlos Aguilar (Rikki).
Encarnacion had 42 Grandchildren, 94 Great Grandchildren, and 18 Great-Great Grandchildren. He was a Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. He was cherished by his family and loved by all who knew him.
Pallbearers: Ignacio Ortiz, JoAdrian Vara, Joshua Vara, Sammy Luna, Tony Longoria Jr, Jonathan Longoria, Steven Aguilar
Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel ''A". Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 120 East Escobedo in Taft, Texas.
Burial will follow with Military Honors at the Coastal Bend State Veteran cemetery 9974 I.H. 37 Access Rd
Reception will be held at ICC in Taft at 3pm.
