Corpus Christi, TX
Emma J. Lozano, 80, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Kingsville, Texas on August 26, 1933 to Santiago and Genoveva Jimenez.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Servando Lozano, Sr., her son, Servando Lozano, Jr., and a grandson, Servando Lozano, III. sister, Ruby Pantoja, and two brothers, Henry and Julian Jimenez.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and sister and she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her children, Janie Zamora, Jose Albert (Roxanne) Lozano, John Gilbert (Lorraine) Lozano, Rose Mary Lozano (Eddie), sister, Irene Naranjo, brother, Santiago Jimmy (Diana) Jimenez, twenty two grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Visitation wil begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Guardian funeral home chapel A with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church, 540 Hiawatha St. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery. Active and Honorary pallbearers will be, Jesse and Johnny Zamora, Chris and Mike Lozano, Chris and Isaac Lozano, John Gilbert and Jonathan Lozano, Isaiah Mungia and Jerry Uresti, David Saucedo.
A special thanks to her daughter-in-law, Soyla Christina Lopez and granddaughter, Lorena Lozano for their special care, support, and comfort given to Emma.
