On May 16, 2024 Elvira R. Woods left this earth to be with her beloved husband Richard Woods, her daughter Norma Ramirez and her grandson David (D.J.) Sanchez.  Her greatest joy in life was dancing and her grandchildren.  She is survived by her daughters Elsa (Donovann) Fite of New Braunfels, TX, Laura (Jose) Tienda of Corpus Christi, TX, son Jaime (Nancy) Ramirez of Edenburg, TX.  6 grandchildren  and 11 great grandchildren.

There will be a Mass held on Friday, June 21st 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church located at 710 S. 19th St. Corpus Christi, TX. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery located at 9974 1-37 Corpus Christi, TX. 78130.
