Eloisa Garcia Aguirre, born on August 25, 1932, in Runge, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024, at the age of 92 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was the beloved daughter of Costulo and Carmen Garcia.

Eloisa shared a remarkable 72 years of marriage with her late husband, Gregorio Aguirre, Sr., whom she married on June 12, 1950, in Karnes City, Texas. She loved to play bingo and enjoyed gambling with her husband and her sister, especially at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Louisiana.

Eloisa leaves behind a loving family, including her five children: Gregorio Aguirre Jr. (Debbie), Irene Ramirez (Sylvester), Carmen Garcia (Manuel+), George Aguirre (Judy), and Albert Aguirre. She was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2024 , at Guardian Funeral Home, Corpus Christi, with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m.

A final viewing will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024 , at Saint Anthony's Catholic Church, located at 908 South Helena Runge, Texas 78151. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. that morning. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at the Runge City Cemetery, 1300 Helena St, Runge, TX 78151.

Eloisa will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and friends.
