Elizabeth "Betty" Montelongo Ramon, 57, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 18, 2017. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on January 22, 1960 to Silverio and Celsa Montelongo. She was employed with the U.S. Probation Office in Corpus Christi, and was a member of Solid Rock Church on Ayers St.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by three siblings, Maria Montelongo, Silverio Montelongo, Jr, and James Montelongo; brother-in-law, Daniel Ramon; sister-in-law, Cynthia Ramon. She is survived by her loving husband, David L. Ramon; her parents;  daughters, Christa Marisol Hernandez-Solis, Virginia Alexis Casares, Loimi Paloma Alba (David); sons, Urbano Daniel Ramon (Angela), Mark Ramon (Elizabeth), Luis Gabriel Ramon; brothers; Vicente, Roy,  and Ray Montelongo; sister, Mary Saldivar; father and mother-in-law, Matias M. and Jovita L. Ramon; sister-in-law, Elena Ramon; brother-in-law, Ricardo Ramon; 17 grandchildren; aunts, uncles, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Prayer services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 at Solid Rock Church on Ayers St. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park Cemetery.
