Elida Reyes Navarro was born on January 16, 1950 in Corpus Christi,TX. She joined our Lord on January 23, 2019 at the age of 69. She is preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Jose and Eloisa Reyes. Along with her four brothers Juan (Mary) d. Reyes, Andres (Yolanda) Reyes, Jesse (Enedina) Reyes, and Jose (Esther) Reyes and one sister Ms. Lydia Mullen.

She leaves behind to celebrate her life and honor her memories her three sons: Andrew Navarro Jr, Johnny Navarro, Cecilio (Geneva) D. Navarro; as well as her three daughters: Josephine (Juan) Bonilla, Veronica Coleman, and Eloisa Kay Navarro. She also leaves 14 grandkids; 8 great grandkids; and numerous loving family and friends. She was not only well liked but well loved. Elida will be dearly missed by all.

Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2019 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic church. 2509 Nogales/MacArthur St. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
