Our beloved Elida Morin passed away Thursday January 25, 2024 at the age of 80.
She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 9, 1943 to her parents Jesus Morin and Margarita Gonzalez Morin.
A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend to many is now at rest. Elida was raised in Edroy, which she often spoke of fondly and was deep rooted in the community. Our hearts are heavy as we say our farewells to such a loving soul full of personality and whit. Elida remembered everyone whose path she crossed; she will sincerely be missed.
Elida is survived by her brother Ruben Morin (Olga), sisters Jova Gonzalez (Angel), Delia M. Ramirez (Oscar), Irene Rodriquez (Cruz), her son Jesus Morin (Isabel), daughters Martha Garcia (Paul) and Norma Morin, grandchildren Melissa Armendariz, Jacob Garcia, Jonah Garcia, Jaylin Hernandez, Khloe Hernandez and 8 greatgrandchildren and an abundance of other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Guardian Funeral Home chapel with a Catholic service to be held at 6 p.m.
