Obituary
She was a bus driver for over 20 years with CCISD where she retired. She loved to travel and spend time with family at gatherings and BBQ's. Her Sundays were spent watching and enjoying football.
She is preceded in death by her parents Eufracia and Jesus Lopez, her son Jose"Joey"De La Paz, and her sister Alicia Martinez. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 53 years, Jose De La Paz, her son Rene De La Paz(Melissa Perez), granddaughters Christina De La Paz and Angeligue Garza(Jacob King), great granddaughter Ava Marie King, siblings Teresa Hernandez, Mary"Cuca"Capetillo, Joseph"Chuco"Lopez, Carmen Ramirez, Yolanda Lopez and several nephews and nieces.
Public visitation will begin at 5pm Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Guardian Funeral Home 5922 Crosstown Access Rd. followed by a holy rosary at 7pm.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church 2509 Nogales St. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
