Efrain Silva, Jr.., 60 years of age passed away on January 25, 2025. Efrain was born on June 20, 1964 in Robstown, Texas and was employed with the Republic Services. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend and will always be remembered for his love of laughter, quiet nature and sense of humor, and was a Dallas Cowboy Di-Hard fan. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Efrain was preceded in death by his parents, Efrain P. Silva and Angelita Escameno Silva.  He is survived by his loving wife Rachel M. Silva, step sons, Richard Ortiz, Jr., Rodney Anthony Ortiz, Rey Ortiz(Christina), John Michael Zepeda and Mellisa Ortiz Reyna (Nando), brother, Noel Silva (Monica), sisters, Nelma Silva Hernandez (Marcus), Belinda Silva Dominguez (the late Raul), Angelita Silva Ysassi (Vicente Ysassi, Sr.), Esmeralda Silva Sanchez (Raymond), half-brother, Reymondo Garcia (the late Olga), son, Efrain Silva, III, four grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews.

Public visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Guardian funeral home chapel 5922 Crosstown in Corpus Christi, Texas with an Evening service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Guardian funeral home starting at 8:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service to be conducted at 11:00 a.m. by Pastor Tony Mendoza from Houston, Texas.  Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Catholic cemetery in Robstown, Texas at 1:00 p.m.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard Ortiz, Jr., Rodney Anthony Ortiz, John Michael Ortiz and Melissa Reyna.

Active pallbearers will be Eddie Cano, Paul Eric Cano, Frank Cabrerra, Christopher Hidebrandt, Eddie Soto and Andrew Dominguez.
