Edward Bedford, Jr. was born on June 24, 1944 to the late Edward Bedford, Sr. and Francis Marvels of Corpus Christi, Texas. He was called home to glory on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. He attended Roy Miller High School in Corpus Christi, Texas and  then worked as a diesel and auto mechanic with B.D. Holt for several years. In his spare time, he loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren.  He leaves to mourn, his wife, Linda G. Bedford of 37 years, his children: Michael Bedford, Cassandra Johnson, Christina Miller, Tonya Bedford, Tammy Bedford, Stacy Henderson, Brandon Thomas, his sisters, Shirley Bedford-Roberson and Brenda Bedford, an Uncle, Lee Marvels (Wilma), 17 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family. He was our daddy, he was our friend, and we will always love him until the end.....There will be a wake on Friday February 10, from 4 to 8 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A.  Services will be on Saturday  10 am. at  Guardian Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
