Edward Dwight Jolliffe, known as Dwight, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026. He was born December 20, 1934, in Knoxville, Iowa, to Elton Albert Jolliffe and Jessie Lorene Jolliffe (Dudley). He attended Perkins School for the Blind and worked at Pella Corporation before later serving at Lighthouse for the Blind.

Dwight was a man of faith with a kind heart and a love for animals. He enjoyed wrestling, cheering for the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears, having breakfast with his wife at Papichulos, and watching game shows and Fox News. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas, and was proud to be an American.

He is survived by his daughter, June Marie Forest (Jolliffe); stepsons; grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Rene Jolliffe; son, Steven Dwight Jolliffe; wife, Joan Dianne Jolliffe; stepdaughter, Kimberly Kae Stapp; and brothers and sisters.

An informal celebration of life well be held on August 10th at 3pm in the Fellowship Hall at the Second Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas.
