IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Earl Edwin
Revett
December 2, 2020
Earl Edwin Revett of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 76. Earl graduated from Mary Carroll High School in 1962, and later became a proud graduate of Texas A & I University with a bachelor's degree in math and chemistry. He was active with his two sons in scouting. He was camp counselor at Camp Karankawa in his youth and received the Order of the Arrow. Earl loved being with his wife, children, 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He was a simple man, who dearly loved spending time with his family and friends, as well as hunting and watching westerns. He was happiest when he was at the warehouses mowing or working to fix things or just being alone with his beloved wife Brenda of 55 years.
Earl's favorite saying was "discipline", teaching his children to find something you love to do with passion, which will ultimately lead to success. At the age of 15, he started working with his dad at Earl Revett Heating and Air Conditioning Company. He then began building commercial property and started his own business, Windsor Door Company. In his later years, he continued to build more commercial rental property to help young entrepreneurs achieve their dreams of owning their own business. He was John Wayne, Yoda, Six Millon Dollar Man, MacGyver, Incredible Hulk and "Frugal-Man" all tied into one.
Earl leaves behind to cherish our many precious memories, his wife Brenda and daughter, Renee (Todd) Deaver and daughter-in-law, Marion Revett, his two sisters, Marie Gray, Margaret Callaway and ten grandchildren: Maudie (Luke), Coral, Esther (Shawn), Earl II, Brenda, Phoebe, Rose, Sierra, Brandon, Jade and great granddaughter, Rose Mary. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl & Esther Revett and two sons, Earl James and Clint Phillip.
Funeral will be held at Guardian Funeral Home on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 2 pm with visitation beginning at 1 pm at 5922 Crosstown Access Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78417.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America or Trinity Worship Center Building Fund.
