Donnie Delane "Shotgun" Barnett passed away December 22, 2021. He was 66 Years old.  Donnie was born on October 30, 1955 in Robstown, Texas to Luella Barnett Sheffield.

Donnie entered into the United States Army on September 23, 1974 in San Antonio, TX during the Vietnam Era and actively served for 3 years at Fort Ord California.  Donnie was honorably discharged on September 22, 1977.

After his service in the Army Donnie worked for the United States Post Office as well as Ainsworth Trucking.

Donnie loved being outside, fishing, planting a garden, and spending time with family and friends.

Donnie is preceded in death by his mother Luella Barnett Sheffield and wife Glory Ann Whitfield Barnett

Donnie leaves to cherish his memory; his son Nathaniel Delane Barnett; Father Harold Mike Sheffield; Sister Corgia, Mildred and Catherine McDonald.  Nieces/Nephews, as well as cousins and friends.
