Donna Lee Aguilar Solis, age 50, lost her nine month battle with cancer Sunday April 15, 2018 at Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital in San Antonio with family at her side.

Donna was born April 24, 1967 in Corpus Christi, Tx to Julian and Estella Aguilar. She is survived by her best friend and husband Abundio Solis,her children: Felix, Faith and Abundio Jr. ; her loving parents Julian and Estella Aguilar; siblings Grace (Alfredo), Stella (Ramiro), Julian (Melissa), Julie (Julio) and Joseph (Christina); and various nieces/nephews.

Being the eldest of six siblings Donna had a very caring, selfless and motherly nature, always willing to help any of her siblings in need. She enjoyed being with her family, friends and spending time with all of her nieces and nephews who adored her. She brought everyone together and had the most infectious laugh that couldn't help but make your heart happy. She was a wonderful wife, great mother, loving daughter and amazing sister.  Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Guardian funeral home chapel "A" with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.  Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at Most Precious Blood Catholic church, 3502 Saratoga Blvd. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
