Donald William Parr, Sr., 75, went home to be with the Lord on October 26, 2014. He was born on September 25, 1939 in Massillo, Ohio to Donald Eugene and Dorothy Virginia Parr. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Carolyn Louise Parr, two daughters, Carol Jean Parr and Cynthia Kay Irvin, and a son, Richard Lee Parr. Donald was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a longtime mud logger in the oil field. He was also a classic car enthusiast, and he cherished his 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury. He is survived by son, Donald William (Debra) Parr, Jr., of Edinburg, Texas, his daughters, Karen N. (James) Johns and Diana (Michael) Smith both of Corpus Christi, Texas, nine grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, his brother, Robert D. Parr, sister, Beverly (Melvin) Henthorne both from Massillon, Ohio, and numerous nieces & nephews.
