Donald R Behm, 78, of Corpus Christi, passed away on June 1, 2016.

He was born January 17, 1938 in Clifton, Illinois, the son of John and Belle Behm. Donnie married Karin Utley on October 10, 1980.

Donnie was a volunteer fireman, a Mason and a member of the Jaycee's since 1961. He belonged to the Laguna Optimist Club and a member of the Stroke Club. Donnie volunteered for 15-years with the HGB Christmas Dinners. In his early years he built doll houses and furniture piece by piece. He received many awards for his service and volunteering from different organizations. He loved spending time with his friends at the Ethel Eyerly Senior Center. He enjoyed spending time with his family and telling stories. Donnie never met a stranger, which has gained him many, many friends over the years. He made everyone smile, even on his worse days.

Along with his wife Karin, he is survived by three daughters and a son; Bette McCabe of Kankakee, IL, Jennifer Thorpe of Rochelle, IL, Tina Utley of Corpus Christi, TX and Tom (Gail) Utley of Washington, DC. He was also blessed with grandchildren and great grandchildren; Jacob, Michael, Ashley, Bella, Shawn, Desiree, Misty, Ryan, Christie, Leah, Morgan, Bianca, Jessie, Zoe, Jaycee, Sklyar, Avery, Harper and Jake. He has two brothers; Ed Behm of Mattoon, IL and Derry Behm of Ashkum, IL.

Preceding him in death, along with his parents; his sister Donna Winkel and son-in-law Mark McCabe.
