In Loving Memory of Dominga Reyes Perez May 12, 1931 – August 4, 2026 Dominga Reyes Perez, 95, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026. She was born on May 12, 1931, in Laredo, Texas, and lived a life defined by unwavering faith, hard work, generosity, and unconditional love for her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Marcelina Lopez Reyes and Nicolas Reyes; her devoted husband, Francisco Perez; her cherished daughter, Noemi Barrientos; her beloved granddaughter, Lisa Renee Rosales. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Louisa, Roman, Patricia, Hortencia, Gregorio, Raquel, and Nicolas. Dominga is survived by her sister, Dora Garcia; her children, Rosalinda Luera, Esther Gonzalez (Hector), Martha Salazar (Rick), Francisco Perez Jr. (Cristina), and her son-in-law, Roberto Barrientos. She lovingly raised her grandsons, Alfredo Davila III and Enrique DeAses Jr., who held a very special place in her heart. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Dominga and her husband shared many wonderful years together and faithfully served their church family at Solid Rock Church. Their lives reflected a deep commitment to serving others and living out their faith. She dedicated more than 40 years of service to Memorial Hospital, where she worked in the laundry department before retiring. Her strong work ethic, humility, and dedication earned the respect of those who knew her. Outside of work, Dominga found great joy tending to her yard and garden, where her flowers flourished under her loving care. She loved cooking delicious meals, especially authentic Mexican meals, and opening her home to family gatherings, creating countless treasured memories around her table. She was well-known for her delicious tamales. She had a servant's heart and was always ready to lend a helping hand to family members and anyone in need. Her kindness, generosity, and quiet strength touched countless lives. Though her family grieves her passing, they rejoice in knowing she is at peace and reunited with those who went before her. Her legacy of faith, love, compassion, and devotion to family will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Guardian Funeral Home. Public visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Funeral service to be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park cemetery 2731 Comanche at 1:00 p.m.

 The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. Dominga's memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
