Dilia Bustamante Solis went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the age of 83. She was born in Zapata, Texas on July 1, 1934 to Indalecio and Ruperta Bustamante.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters: Beatriz Salinas, Benita Borrego, Crisanta Espinoza, and Emilia Lopez.
Dilia is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jose Solis Sr., and children, Jose Solis Jr. (Debbie), Sylvia Solis, Juanita Poncedeleon (Ben), Gloria Garza, Martin Solis; her grandchildren Rudy, David, Roy, Joe, Kimberly, Jessica, Andrew, Ryan, Ben, Dominic, Victoria; six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She taught her children the true meaning of unconditional love. She will forever live in their hearts.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Guardian Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. that same evening. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Holy Family Church, with the interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
